ABOUT THE ARTIST

Kathryn is a multi-disciplinary printmaker and painter.  Her favorite mediums are either high-color or high-contrast, and she draws her most vivid inspiration from observations of the natural world, ecology, current events and literature. She enjoys linoleum block (lino) printing, mixed media, acrylics, biodegradable art, textiles, and scherenschnitte papercut

with a modern naturalist twist.

Her diverse portfolio includes graphic design, published poetry and art, copywriting and classical piano performance.  All of these disciplines inform her work with layered metaphor and process from concept through completion.
